Air purifier test – What is the best model of 2022?

The Dutch TNO institute has tested the air circulation of air purifiers for effectiveness. Their test shows that air displacement gives the best results. Nowadays, interest in air purifiers is increasing, both for offices as for homes. The reason is obvious, as the air around us is becoming more polluted. But which air purifier is the best option to improve air quality? You can read the results of the test here.

How did TNO test the air purifiers?

To determine the effectiveness of air purifiers, TNO went to a restaurant in Haarlem. There they placed four air purifiers in a smoking room. During the test eleven people were present in the room, of whom nine people were smoking.

The air purifiers with displacement technology showed an astonishing result. With the use of displacement technique the air in the respiratory zone contained 99% less harmful substances.

The efficiency of air purifiers based on air displacement is 30% to 40% higher than that of conventional air purifiers with mixing ventilation, like most wall units. With conventional air purifiers the exposure to harmful substances is much higher.

Below you can read the complete conclusions of the test, or you can download it as a PDF file.

What does the air purifier test mean?

Nowadays, many air purifier sellers claim that their filter works effectively. These claims are often based only on the specifications of the filter alone. What an air purifier actually does is not included. That does not provide a reliable picture for the consumer. You have to understand that the way of air circulation is at least as important as the effectiveness of the filter.

The TNO air purifier test does include the practical operation of the filter in its study. Therefore, the results of this test provide a reliable picture.

How does air displacement work?

What is interesting about the best air purifier from the test is how it operates. First of all, the air purifier blows clean air evenly into the room. Hereby, it creates an air layer that always fills up from the ground. This means that there is no draft. The clean added air forces the polluted air up from the breathing zone. The polluted air draws into the device at the top of the room, where it gets filtered. Using the best tested air purifier ensures the cleanest, healthiest air in your space.

Why using an air purifier with displacement pays off

A displacement air purifier is the best choice for professional spaces and individuals. Clean air comes with many advantages, such as a higher productivity on the workfloor and less absenteeism. Air displacement technology realizes a high level of air circulation as well. This means that the air is distributed well in every corner of the room.

Air purifier for a hair salon | Remove dust and odor from the air

    We care about clean air

    solutions for indoor air quality

    Quick to: advice and product

Hair salon air purifier: why should you get it and which one do you need?

Polluted air in hair salons can cause many problems. For example, dirty air can make people sick and can lead to a loss of productivity in hairdressers. The air quality of hairdressing salons is often not optimal. The daily hair treatments with paint and sprays are the cause of this. These, among other things, bring paint gases, fine dust and nasty smells into the air of the hair salon. However, an air purifier for a salon keeps the air clean and healthy. Read more about it here.

Bad air quality in hair salons

Hairdressers use various products to perform treatments every day. Think of sprays, bleaching agents and permanent liquids. This releases chemical and unhealthy substances into the air. Long-term exposure to these types of substances causes health problems for employees. Besides, customers can also be bothered by the strong paint odor that is released with these types of hairdressing products.

Take into account that ventilation systems in hairdressing salons won’t solve everything. First, these systems only refresh the air at one point and do not circulate the entire indoor air. Second, ventilation systems draw in dirty air from the outside. As a result of this, viruses, bacteria and fine dust particles get into the hairdresser’s salon. So you can say there are a certain amount of ventilation requirements for a hair salon to have healthy indoor air. An air purifier in the salon offers a solution for problems like dust, fine dust and limited ventilation.

    Health complaints with long-term exposure

Long-term exposure and frequent use of materials that release chemical substances cause health problems for employees (Longfonds). The most common complaints are:

    • Headache
    • Fatigue
    • Breathing problems
    • Allergic reactions

How do hair salon air purifiers work?

An air purifier in a hair salon is an excellent choice for keeping your indoor air clean and healthy. A hair salon air purifier works with the help of a HEPA filter. This filter ensures that fine dust, viruses, bacteria, gases and dust are removed from the air. Besides that a HEPA filter also removes bad odors. After removing these particles, the air purifier will blow clean, fresh air back into the room.

Why should you buy an air purifier for your hair salon?

Every day your customers and your staff come into contact with chemicals and fine dust. As a result, this group runs the risk of the aforementioned health complaints. However, a hair salon air purifier offers them the protection and air quality they need and deserve. Furthermore, you no longer suffer from stench and odor nuisance in your hair salon. Finally, a clean and fresh smelling salon also creates a positive image.

What is the best air purifier for a hair salon?

The EDC650 is the best air purifier for hair salons. Hair salon air purifier experiences also show that. The EDC650 uses a unique air circulation and filter technique. The TNO tested this technique. The test showed that the EDC650 removes fine dust, dust and other small particles up to 99.99% from the air. That means that the EDC650 is the most effective air purifier for a hair salon ever.

What makes the EDC650 also very suitable for hairdressing salons, is the fact that it’s very quiet. The decibel level is, depending on the air speed, between a pleasant 27 and 49 dB. Finally, its energy consumption is relatively low. It consumes only 45W on average use. In short, the EDC650 is perfect for continuously providing your salon with clean air.

Benefits of air cleaning in a hair salon

Air purifiers in hairdressing salons first of all provide clean, healthy air. Second, they remove bad smells and odors. These are the main benefits of a hair salon air purifier:

    • Protection of the health of customers and staff
    • Increase in performance/productivity
    • Decrease absenteeism
    • Good for image

Air purifier nail studio | What is the best buy?

      We care about clean air

      solutions for indoor air quality

      Quick to: advice and product

Nail salon air purifier | What is the best buy?

Nail salons deal with polluted air. This is mainly due to the polishing and grinding of nails during treatment like a manicure or a pedicure. A ventilation system is often a closing point for many nail studios. It lacks a good system to remove the dust and other pollution from the air.

Fine dust and dust from nails are harmful to your health when inhaled during prolonged exposure. Ventilation systems, however, hardly filter and remove dust. They even take in pollution. An air purifier in a nail salon, on the other hand, is ideal. This ensures that your workplace is clean and healthy. Read more about it here.

How do nail fumes and fine dust appear in a nail salon?

Before we discuss the usefulness of an air purifier in a nail salon, we first look at the source of pollution. For example, daily nail salon treatments such as the use of nail polish and nail polish removers bring nail fumes. This not only causes a stench and odor nuisance in a nail salon, it’s also dangerous for your health. For example, a well-known chemical released when using nail polish remover is acetone.

In addition, filing and grinding nails releases fine dust into the air. These ultra-fine particles mainly consist of acrylic from artificial nails, dried glue residues and even human skin.

The health risks of nail fine dust and fumes

Looking at the substances and fumes you can guess that they are not very healthy. After all, it is not entirely without reason that you put the nail polish waste in the chemo bin. The degree of use and the degree of exposure have influence on the health complaints. These are the most common:

      • Headache
      • Respiratory problems
      • Dizziness
      • Nausea

Why a nail salon air purifier is essential

You can clean the air in a nail studio with an air purifier. An air purifier in a nail salon removes fine dust, bacteria, viruses (such as corona) and other harmful nail substances that come from treatments like pedicures and manicures. It is actually a kind of placeable extraction system for nail dust and fine dust.

With a nail studio air purifier you guarantee the cleanest and healthiest air in your workplace. This is important as employees come into contact with these substances every day. With a nail studio air purifier you protect your employees against harmful nail substances and fine dust. So no more nuisance in your nail salon!

If you work with nail polish, you know that it has a foul, strong odor. Extraction of nail dust and fumes is therefore very important. With daily use, this air can even linger in your workplace. You don’t want any odor nuisance in your nail salon. You want to be able to work in fresh air for your customers and yourself. A nail studio air purifier also works with odor extraction. This means that it removes bad smells from the air, so you no longer have to worry about the nail polish stench.

How does an air purifier in a nail salon work?

A good nail salon air purifier works with a HEPA filter. Such a filter is simply a sieve consisting of cardboard and glass fibers. It purifies the air of the smallest particles. Nail dust, fumes and fine dust are effectively removed and clean, healthy air is blown back into the workspace. A HEPA filter is the most refined filter on the market. Purifying the air in a nail studio with a good extraction of nail dust and fumes, you do that with a HEPA filter.

Want to buy the best nail salon air purifier? Choose this one

The very best air purifier for a nail salon is the EDC650! Experiences from nail studio air purifier users prove this right. The EDC650 is specially designed as a high level extraction system, more than suitable for a nail salon. It removes nail fumes and fine dust from the air very effectively. The technology of the EDC650 has even been tested as the best. The test shows that the EDC650 removes fine dust and other minuscule particles for 99.99% from the air. In short, this makes it the most effective nail studio air purifier on the market.

The benefits of clean and healthy air

First of all, using an air purifier in a nail salon ensures healthy and clean air. Second, it removes bad smells. These are the main advantages of this:

      • Healthy air is good for your image
      • You protect the health of your employees and customers
      • Sickness absence decreases
      • It increases your performance and productivity

Does an air purifier protect against the coronavirus?

        We care about clean air

        solutions for indoor air quality

        Quick to: advice and product

Does an air purifier protect against the corona virus?

An air purifier against the corona virus. Does it help? We will answer that question for you here. In the meantime, the virus has a tight grip on the world. It’s true that the government has drawn up a number of measures for protection. Nevertheless, there is a group in need of additional protection. You have to think of, for example, people who are still at work or in the office. According to some, an air purifier would help against the corona virus. Read more about it here.

        Current measures

Before we discuss the effect of air purifiers against COVID-19, we advise you to follow the measures taken by the RIVM (more information). They are:

        • Wash your hands regularly with soap and water (for at least 20 seconds)
        • Do not shake hands
        • Stay 5 feet apart
        • Use tissue paper
        • Cough and sneeze into the inside of your elbow

Does an air purifier remove corona from the air?

The corona crisis has made people wonder whether it is possible to remove the corona virus from the air with an air purifier. The short answer to that is yes. To explain further, the COVID-19 virus is another form of ultra-fine particles in the eyes of an air purifier. An air purifier does not distinguish between a virus and a particle. He picks up both. Good air purifiers filter viruses and particles. This way you can also remove the corona virus from the air.

The airborne coronavirus also needs a carrier, such as droplets, fine dust and pollen. The virus sticks to fine dust, for example, so that it spreads in a room. Fortunately, air purifiers remove these types of particles with the help of a fine-mesh filter technique.

The best technique for removing corona from the air

There are several air purifier sellers who claim to have a good working filter technique against corona. Yet the difference in performance, between what they promise and how good it actually works, is often large. Extreme Air Products has developed a unique patented air circulation and filter technique that really does work: air displacement. In fact, this technique has been tested as the best by the TNO: an air purifier with displacement removes fine dust and other small particles for no less than 99.99% (!) from the air and has up to 40% more efficiency than the air purifiers using regular circulation.

An air purifier with air displacement technology guarantees the cleanest and healthiest air in a room. It protects against the smallest particles such as fine dust, pollen, exhaust gases, bacteria and viruses (such as the corona virus). Corona air purifier experiences also prove this to be true.

        Workplaces need extra protection

Not everyone is reassured about the measures taken by the government. Additional protection against the corona virus is needed, we hear from our customers. For example, workplaces such as an office, school, dental practice, healthcare institution, gym and a nail studio benefit from clean, healthy air. An air purifier with air displacement technology offers these workplaces their desired protection.

An air purifier does not offer a guaranteed protection against corona

Keep in mind that air purifiers do not guarantee protection from the corona virus in your room. On the other hand, you do reduce the risk of contamination with a good air purifier. When using an air purifier against the corona virus, it’s important to run it as long and often as possible. It’s best to leave it on continuously. This will optimise the cleaning effect. As mentioned, also follow the measures of the RIVM carefully to keep the risk of infection as small as possible.

What is the best air purifier against the corona virus?

The EDC650 UV-C is the best choice to remove coronavirus particles from your office or workplace. This virus fighting air purifier can do this thanks to a combination of unparalleled filter effectiveness, UV-C light and a very high capacity. UV-C light makes viruses and bacteria harmless before they enter the HEPA filter.

The EDC650 brings even more benefits. Firstly, it consumes little energy and is quiet. Second, it lasts for years without too much maintenance.

More information about the EDC650 UV-C can be found on the product page.

Dust in the workplace? Dusty office? An air purifier helps

          We care about clean air

          solutions for indoor air quality

          Quick to: advice and product

Dusty workplace? Let’s do something about it!

Do you also work in a dusty work environment? You recognise it: red burning eyes, concentration problems, itching, tightness and irritated airways. Not exactly beneficial to your productivity, time to do something about it, because dust in the workplace is not only unhygienic and bad for the company image.. It’s also very unhealthy. Many office dust complaints seem harmless, but can cause serious damage with prolonged exposure and thus be undermined in the long run.

What types of dust are at your workplace? We’ll explain how to remove a lot of dust in the workplace. For example, does an air purifier help against dust in the office?

What exactly is the dust in your place at work?

Dust at work is best described as a collection of small, solid particles. Well-known places where you often see dust at work is on the printer, the keyboard, the desk and the screen. A dusty workplace is a major point of irritation for many people. As an employer, it’s therefore important to keep your office or workplace dust-free in order to keep your employees happy.

The difference between office dust and construction dust

In construction, workers have to deal with materials that contain quartz dust. This is released during drilling, sawing and milling. Hazardous substances are also released when working with wood and metals. Employers must therefore ensure that their employees do not come into contact with these dust particles. Construction workers who work in a dusty environment can get serious lung diseases in the long term.

Offices and workplaces are also subject to dust. In fact, often it’s people themselves that are the cause of a dusty office. Over time, for example, particles from clothing and skin flakes can create a lot of dust in the workplace.

          Dusty office and external factors

Dust at work is sometimes also due to external factors. Think of pollutants from the carpet, plasterboard or paint. A poorly functioning ventilation system is also often a cause of dust. Poorly filtered air exchange also draws in harmful dust particles from the outside.

One of those harmful dust particles is fine dust and ultra fine dust. The dangerous thing about small dust particles is that you only notice the effect after years of exposure. Fine dust is called an “invisible assassin” for a reason!

Health complaints due to dusty work environment

In the short term, a dusty work environment causes complaints such as sneezing, coughing, runny noses and itchiness. Other complaints come with long-term exposure to dust. These are usually much more serious. An example is people who develop cancer after years of working with asbestos (source). Protection is necessary to avoid such health risks. But how do you protect yourself against dust in the workplace?

Remove the dust from the air in your workplace

An air purifier against dust is the best way to extract and remove dust from the air in your workplace. Good air purifiers use a HEPA filter. This filter is specially designed to filter and remove the smallest dust particles. In this way, air purifiers with a HEPA filter remove all dust particles and you protect yourself and your employees against the health complaints mentioned before.

What is the best anti-dust air purifier on the market?

The best air purifier to make and keep your office or workplace dust-free, that’s without a doubt the EDC650. This anti-dust air purifier is specially made to provide large spaces with the healthiest indoor air. Thanks to its unique filter and circulation technology (also tested as the best), the EDC650 effortlessly removes all dust particles from the air. More information about the EDC650 can be found on the product page.

The advantages of a dust-free office or workshop

Working dust-free only has advantages. Health gain is the most important of these. A clean working environment without dust will minimise the risk of dust-related complaints and diseases. A dust-free workplace also increases efficiency. For example, machines last longer, they come to a stop less and you have to clean your office less.

Industrial air purifier | Effective industrial fine dust removal

            We care about clean air

            solutions for indoor air quality

            Quick to: advice and product

Buying an industrial air purifier, does it really work against fine dust?

You can remove fine dust with an industrial air cleaner. The industrial sector emits a lot of fine dust due to the many combustion processes. This is very harmful to the people who work, for example, in a production area or warehouse with an indoor office. Read more about the air purifier in the industry and find out what it really does.

Fine dust in the industrial sector, how does that arise?

Research shows that the industrial sector still has a large share in the total fine dust emissions in the Netherlands. In production halls, industrial fine dust is created during certain activities. Think of the stone, wood and metal processing industry. This causes damage to the indoor environment and workers are being exposed to this form of air pollution. Long-term exposure to fine dust in industry causes complaints.

Do you work in a dusty environment yourself? Then pay attention!

You should be aware of how harmful fine dust actually is in the industry. After inhalation, particles smaller than 0.01 millimeters enter deep into the lungs and directly into the blood. According to the Heart Foundation, this may lead to:

            • Respiratory complaints: breathlessness, cough and asthma (read more about air purifiers for asthma).
            • Higher risk of a heart attack
            • Worsening of arteriosclerosis
            • Increase in blood pressure

In general, the more industrial fine dust in the air, the worse the complaints are. Air purification in industry is therefore essential. An industrial air purifier in the workplace solves this problem.

How can an air purifier in the industry remove fine dust?

It’s important to know that not all industrial air purifiers remove fine dust. Only an industrial air purifier with a HEPA filter will do that. Such a filter is simply a sieve consisting of cardboard and glass fibers. The big plus of HEPA filters is that they remove even smaller particles from the air than normal filters (including fine dust). This makes them even more effective and hygienic than normal filters.

What is the best air purifier for in the industrial sector?

In our view, an industrial air purifier or air purification system must meet a number of conditions. First, it must be suitable for large spaces, and second, it must be able to remove fine dust effectively. An air purifier for a large room with a HEPA filter, the EDC650, is the ideal choice. The air purifier experiences in the industrial sector als.o back this up.

The EDC650 is specially made for the removal of fine dust. It also stands out for its effectiveness and high capacity. It removes up to no less than 99.99% fine dust from the air thanks to its unique air circulation. The tests also prove this to be true. There is not a more effective method against industrial fine dust. The industrial air purifier also cleans around 650 cubic meters per hour, more than enough to keep industrial spaces healthy and clean.

Why you want to go for clean air in your industrial space

Clean, healthy air in your room … everyone wants that, right? However, it cannot be taken for granted. With an industrial air purifier you can achieve a healthy indoor climate. The advantages? First of all, clean air protects your employees against various viruses, bacteria and contaminants. The result of this is less absenteeism. Second, healthy air ensures higher productivity. This has been shown in research. These two advantages make a big positive difference in daily practice.

Remove fine dust from the air at school with an air purifier

              We care about clean air

              solutions for indoor air quality

              Quick to: advice and product

How do you remove fine dust from the air in schools?

Fine dust at school, it’s a problem that many educational institutions in the Netherlands have to deal with. These invisible dust particles cause a lot of damage to young children. Schools in the Netherlands who are placed near the highway or a busy road have been warned for the fine dust problems.

The consequences of a high concentration of fine dust in a school building, playgroup, primary school, classroom, secondary school, college, university or canteen are often incalculable. Find out what you can do about it in this blog. For example, does an air purifier help at school?

How does fine dust form in schools?

The fine dust in schools is a form of air pollution that is invisible to the naked eye. It consists of particles smaller than 10 micrometers of different size, origin and chemical composition. Schools are often spoken of negatively in the news for their poor air quality and unhealthy indoor environment.

A high concentration of fine dust at school often has various causes. Most of it comes in from the outside, mainly caused by exhaust fumes, tires and brakes from cars and aircraft, and emissions from the industrial sector. For that reason, schools close to a highway, busy road, airport and industrial site are very vulnerable to air pollution. However, fine dust particles are also caused in a school itself. For example, machines such as printers and shredders also emit the invisible dust particles. Besides all that even microplastics in clothing can cause unhealthy indoor air.

Fine dust and the health risks for young children

These invisible dust particles are even more harmful to young children than to adults. This is because children breathe faster than adults, with the result that they inhale more air and therefore more fine dust. Many unhealthy dust particles also hang close to the ground. And since kids are so little.. it’s a serious problem.

According to the Dutch Lung Fund, long-term exposure to fine dust can cause illnesses such as asthma, bronchitis and COPD in children. Read more about air purifiers for asthma. But the health problems caused by fine dust are not only respiratory problems. Research also indicates that when pregnant women come into contact with fine dust, it can be seen in the development of the brains of their babies. For example in their children’s face and there is an increased risk of ADHD and learning disabilities.

These are shocking research conclusions and point out the importance of protecting our children from air pollution. Could an air purifier improve the air quality at school?

Schools in the Netherlands are also facing a fine dust crisis

Fine dust at school is an increasingly well-known problem in the Netherlands. For example, a recent study by the Groene Amsterdammer shows that many schools in Amsterdam are exposed to air pollution for a long time now. However, these “fine dust schools” in Amsterdam have promised to take measures.

Is it possible to measure fine dust at school?

The best method to measure the concentration of fine dust at school is with a professional fine dust meter. This device measures the concentration by means of laser scattering technology. You can easily read on the display how many dust particles are present in the air and whether this is desirable on the display. Due to its mobility, a fine dust meter can be taken anywhere.

Remove fine dust from your classroom or school with an air purifier

You take action when the fine dust concentration is too high. This is best done with an air purifier for areas such as a school building, playgroup, secondary school, college, university, classroom, canteen or other space in education.

The EDC650 is the ideal choice to protect these types of buildings. This air purifier is specially designed to extract and remove fine dust from the air. With the best tested technology, the EDC650 removes fine dust from the air with an effectiveness of 99.99%. There is not a more effective method to remove fine dust than with an air purifier. Read more about the EDC650 on the product page.

What does an air purifier do against allergies?

Anti-allergy air purifiers filter and remove polluted and contaminated air. This means you no longer suffer from allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, irritated airways and itchiness. With an allergy air purifier you are therefore assured of the healthiest indoor climate.

How does an air purifier help against allergies?

An air purifier against allergies solves all your allergy problems. The device removes all pet hair, pet dander, pollen and dust mites. An air purifier will also neutralise bad odors. The typical stench of the litter box or the typical rabbit smell will be ancient history.

All this works in a safe and user-friendly way. All you have to do is place the air purifier, put the plug in the socket and set it to the preferred setting. Now, the anti-allergy air purifier will do what it should do: keep the indoor air clean and healthy.

What should you pay attention to when buying an anti-allergy air purifier?

A good anti-allergy air purifier must meet a number of conditions. First, it must have a HEPA filter. This powerful filter removes even the smallest particles from the air (about 0.3 microns). This means that a HEPA filter filters allergy sources such as cat hair, dog hair and feather dust and scales without any problems. An additional advantage of a HEPA filter is that they also protect pets against allergies. Pets sometimes suffer from allergies too. Some dogs are sensitive to pollen and dust mites, for example.

A second condition is proper placement of the device. We recommend placing an anti-allergy air purifier on an elevation in or around the breathing zone, because this benefits the effectiveness. This can be for example on a cupboard, chair or table. Finally, you should pay attention to the capacity of the air purifier. Ask yourself whether the maximum working area of the air purifier is large enough for your space.

What are the most common home allergies?

Different types of allergies cause problems for people in their home. Think of dust mite allergy, dust allergy and pollen allergy. Many families also have someone with a pet allergy at home. The most common symptoms of allergies are:

                  • Breathing problems
                  • Concentration problems
                  • Irritated airways
                  • Headache

Air purifier for the living room, what do you pay attention to?

                    We care about clean air

                    solutions for indoor air quality

                    Quick to: product

Need an air purifier for the living room? Pay attention to the following when buying one.

The living room is a place where people spend a lot of time. Breakfast with the family, a movie on the couch in the evening .. recognisable? However, what most people don’t know is that the air quality in living rooms is often moderate to poor which can cause potential health problems for residents as a result. Buying a living room air purifier is a good choice, because it ensures clean and healthy air and it protects people with allergies.

Are you looking for a living room air purifier? Then pay attention to the following points before you buy one.

What should you pay attention to when buying an air purifier for the living room?

Have you decided to buy a living room air purifier? Then of course you want the best buy. However, there are a number of things to be aware of. Such as, for example, the noise level and the placement of the device. Read all about it below.

                    1. The size of the living room

A living room air purifier is only effective up to a certain number of square meters. So make sure you know how big your living room is. And also how much space your air purifier can cover in total.

                    2. The noise level

Another important factor when choosing an air purifier for in the living room is the noise level. One person doesn’t mind some background noise, while the other wants the room to be absolutely quiet. So look at the number of decibels of the air purifier and estimate whether this is satisfactory. Make sure to buy it with excess capacity so the device doesn’t have to run at maximum speed.

                    3. The type of filter

There are different types of filters. You have replaceable, but also permanent filters. Our air purifiers work with a HEPA filter. This filter is extremely effective against air pollution. In addition, this filter removes the smallest particles from the air, including fine dust and mold spores.

                    4. Energy consumption

Energy consumption is a factor to take into account. Especially since an air purifier placed in a living room will run for many hours. It’s best to leave the air purifier constantly running to keep the air circulation going. An energy-friendly device is therefore recommended.

                    5. Placement in the living room

Finally, the placement of the air purifier in the living room is also important. An air purifier should be placed in the breathing zone. Here it works best against very small particles such as ultrafine dust. If you place an air purifier on the floor, it will have little or no effect. It is best to place it on a wall.

The best air purifier for the living room, which model do you need?

We recommend the EA30 air purifier (see photo). The capacity of this device is large enough for every living room and it is also very quiet. The EA30 works with the patented AIH HEPA technology, which removes all minute particles (fine dust, viruses, bacteria, etc.). Besides this, maintenance of the EA30 is only required once every six months.

What causes poor air quality in the living room?

Humans are often the cause of an unhealthy living room climate. People pollute the air by cooking, smoking, lighting candles and the fireplace, among other things. This creates fine dust for instance. Fine dust is a dangerous form of air pollution. Pollen, allergens and viruses also create an unhealthy indoor climate. Fortunately, a living room air purifier offers a solution!

What are the consequences of a bad living room climate?

Unhealthy air in the living room has adverse health consequences. Although most complaints are of a mild nature, in some cases serious complaints occur. People with allergies or lung problems are especially vulnerable to this. The most common complaints of a bad indoor climate are:

                    • Dizziness
